As we get older, we come to realize that all of us, regardless of age, want the same things out of life: Independence, companionship, peace of mind, and a little fun.
As a consequence of my own family experience, I have been driven to develop more comfortable housing, better services, and more opportunities for seniors. And I have been lucky enough to see that through to fruition.
I am proud of our roots and excited about the outstanding housing, hospitality, and services that we provide. I am thrilled that my family has expanded to include Golden Life staff and residents, and their families – and I’m delighted that you may soon enjoy these same benefits too.

We started offering seniors housing in 1998, the same year our founder's mother moved into her suite at our first Village. Now, our extended family has grown to include more than 1000 seniors, living in Golden Life Villages throughout Western Canada.
Family values led our founder to build and manage the best home possible for his mother. Those values gained momentum through the involvement of hundreds of like-minded professionals. While our small family operation has grown into a large, extended-family organization, it remains dedicated to the personal values and Real Living philosophy that honours and respects personal choice and freedom.
