Joseph Creek Village’s private, accessible studios and one- and two-bedroom suites are designed for seniors who want a safe, rewarding and independent lifestyle.

The suites provide all the comforts of home, as well as easy access to any services and assistance that might be required, recreational opportunities and enjoyable company. A centrally located elevator provides convenient access to many common areas, including a library, games room, many comfortable lounges and an elegant dining room.

Each day professional Red Seal chefs create a selection of delicious meals. Residents’ appetites are tempted and their nutritional needs are met by a wide selection of fresh and tasty foods prepared for breakfast lunch and dinner.

Together with Joseph Creek Care Village, Joseph Creek Village forms the Kootenay regions’ largest care community. The two communities are connected via an indoor ‘Main Street’, which has been designed to create the impression of an outdoor mall. Main Street features the Neighbour’s Café, The Styling Company hair salon, Golden Life Pharmacy, a chapel, an exercise room and professional offices. It’s great – especially on those cold winter days – to get out and about without having to leave the building!

Joseph Creek Village is located in Cranbrook, the largest city in southern British Columbia’s Kootenay Rockies.  Joseph Creek Village is conveniently located within walking distance of grocery and retails stores as well as Tamarack Mall, Cranbrook’s major shopping centre. After ten years as a health care manager working with hospitals, community care and residential care facilities, Paul Vieira brought his considerable experience to Joseph Creek Village. When asked why he enjoys his job, he replied, “It’s all about the people! I have thoroughly enjoyed meeting so many wonderful residents and staff. Add to that the beautiful setting we enjoy here…” And Paul, who has lived in spectacular places all over the world – from Portugal, to Ontario, Saskatchewan, the Northwest Territories and BC’s Vancouver Island and Vancouver – knows a lovely location when he sees it!
