Rocky Mountain Village is a seniors lifestyle community that provides independent living and assisted living housing and residential care, hospitality and support services.

Our building features 86 private suites and numerous common areas designed specifically for seniors: accessibility features promote independence and comfortable spaces encourage residents to visit and mingle.

Our charming studios and one- and two-bedroom independent and assisted living suites offer seniors a safe, rewarding and independent lifestyle for one affordable monthly rate.

Residents enjoy organized recreational activities, scheduled outings, complimentary transportation, access to many convenient services and delicious nutritious meals and snacks. Our Red Seal chefs prepare a selection of fresh and delicious and nutritious food daily.  Residents may choose to dine in our comfortable dining room, where breakfast, lunch and dinner are served daily, or invite their guests to a join them in our private dining room.

Our government funded residential care housing, hospitality and support services provides residents with a variety of delicious and nutritious meals, scheduled recreational entertainment and 24-hour a day professional nursing care, delivered in a warm, personal manner. 

Rocky Mountain Village is located in Fernie, a mountain community located in the Elk Valley of Southeastern British Columbia. We are a short drive from Fernie’s Elk Valley Hospital. Our spectacular setting and scenic views of the beautiful Canadian Rocky Mountains provide year-round beauty and contribute to our peaceful and relaxing environment.

With several provincial parks, four national parks, numerous golf courses and the Fernie Alpine Resort in the vicinity, Rocky Mountain Village is within close proximity to an abundance of spectacular terrain to explore. Hike, camp, fish, canoe, golf, or ski – it’s all here! Closer to town, Fernie offers a beautiful historic downtown full of all the shops, services and amenities required on a regular basis.
